Burnt Hickory Special Needs Ministry

@ Burnt Hickory, we believe everyone is born with a plan, for a purpose, to worship God. Our special needs ministry exists to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for

people with disabilities.

 "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works;

my soul knows it very well."    Psalm 139:13-14

Accomodations

We offer accommodations through teacher-specific training, support tools, and a sensory room.

The Sensory Room and items are provided for members and visitors who need sensory support. This room can be used during worship services and Bible classes. Sensory bags, noise-canceling earphones, weighted lap pads, and water tiles are available for use.

**The items in this room were provided through a grant from Unlocking Autism.

Need a different accommodation? Email inclusion@burnthickory.org.
