Missions is basically a three step process. First, we interact with people outside God's Kingdom in a relevant way. Second, we use those opportunities to build meaningful relationships. Finally, we invite those we have built relationships with to be part of a discipleship group. All three steps are important, and if we skip any one of the three, we will miss the mark. It is a great time to be a part of Burnt Hickory and God has given us the resources and opportunities to reach many lost souls in both Cobb and Bartow county.

community christmas

Each year the Burnt Hickory family seeks to provide Christmas gifts to children and families of Cobb County in need and to members or members' friends whose families are in need. We hope our gifts will bless these families and that they will know we love them as their God does.

AIM Kids Camp 2023

The AIM Kids Camp 2023 was a big hit!  The BH Missions team and several members participated to help Atlanta Inner-City Ministry with their Kids Camp. On Wednesday, June 28, they travel to AIM. Then on Thursday, June 29, they hosted an activity/fun day at Burnt Hickory Church of Christ with outdoor games, snacks, and lunch. Helpers taught and lead games for 25 - 40 1st to 6th graders. This was a great opportunity for all ages to get involved in programs that impact Atlanta city children.

Theme: God is Merciful

Dates: Wednesday, June 28 & Thursday, June 29, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
