Missions is basically a three step process. First, we interact with people outside God's Kingdom in a relevant way. Second, we use those opportunities to build meaningful relationships. Finally, we invite those we have built relationships with to be part of a discipleship group. All three steps are important, and if we skip any one of the three, we will miss the mark. It is a great time to be a part of Burnt Hickory and God has given us the resources and opportunities to reach many lost souls in both Cobb and Bartow county.
Each year the Missions Ministry sponsors a short-term mission trip to
Honduras partnering with Mission UpReach to develop Christian leaders.
We are currently involved in medical missions with most participants
providing non-medical support services, as well as construction
The 2020 trip is scheduled for June 20-27. Watch for more details coming soon.

Each year the Burnt Hickory family
seeks to provide Christmas gifts to families of Cobb County military
veterans and members or members' friends whose families are in need. We hope
our gifts will bless these families and that they will know we love them
as their God does.
